One of our top priorities was an agency who values and respects Birth Parents and facilitates matching. DCAS hosts a Birth Mother Support Group which stands for Giving Every Mother Support. Our child’s Birth Mother shared that Cleon was very kind and caring while helping her develop a plan for adoptive placement.
Cleon is very responsive to communication and reassuring but also realistic about the process. Although our adoption isn’t finalized yet, we are so happy we chose to work with DCAS for this most important journey of our lives! They helped me out when I found out I was pregnant at 6 months along the father never came forward for my daughter but they helped me find the prefect family for my baby girl and I couldnt be more happy they always made sure I was comfortable and when the hospital I had her at gave me problems the social worker Cleon came and helped with getting me released thank you Cleon and all the staff at Destiny Child. We signed up with Destiny Child Adoption Services in January 2022. Right from the start they were always so helpful and answered our millions of questions as a family new to the process. Our specialist Amanda took so much time with us and is a saint in our book. She went above and beyond after we had a failed match to make sure we were okay. Our second match worked out and today I’m holding our perfect, absolutely adorable baby boy. He is truly a miracle and we could have never made it without Destiny Child Adoption Services by our side. From our first information call to leaving the hospital with our son, they were always there for us 100%. I cant say enough great things about them.

Our experience through our adoption process with Destiny Child Adoption Services was amazing! We went through a process as a family to better understand who we were, the real “why” behind our desire to adopt, and have honest discussions around what our family was open to when considering the child we would invite into our family. About 2 months from the time we were active in the adoption process, we were able to add a beautiful baby girl into our family. We continue to reinforce the love her belly momma had for her, continue to give updates to her belly momma, and schedule in person visits. It is awesome to have the opportunity to share the whole story of our baby girl with her. Thank you Destiny Child for making this possible!
